Terms of Service

1. Who we are, and what this is

OmenPoint ("the Service", "we", "us") is a cybersecurity news and intelligence aggregation service operated from Australia. These terms are a binding agreement between you and the operator of OmenPoint. By creating an account you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. The Service

OmenPoint collects publicly available security news, advisories, vulnerability data and related content from third-party sources and presents it in a personalised feed. All third-party content belongs to its original publishers; we link to sources and do not claim ownership of their material. Third-party content may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date — verify anything important against the original source before acting on it. The Service is an information tool, not professional security advice.

3. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. One person per account; accounts are not transferable. You must be at least 16 years old. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscriptions, trials and payment

Paid plans are billed as an automatically renewing subscription (currently A$5/month unless stated otherwise at checkout), processed by Stripe — your card details never touch our servers. New subscriptions start with a 30-day free trial; a payment method is collected up front and we email you before your first charge. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Manage subscription: cancellation stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period already started (cancelling during the trial means you are never charged). Prices may change with at least 30 days' email notice, taking effect at your next renewal. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law; beyond those rights, payments already made are non-refundable except where we choose to make a refund at our discretion.

5. Invited / free accounts

Accounts created via an invite link are free of charge. Free accounts are provided as-is and may be converted to a trial/paid requirement, limited, or discontinued with reasonable notice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: share account access or resell/redistribute the Service or substantial parts of the feed; scrape or bulk-export content at volume; probe, scan, overload or attempt to bypass security controls or usage limits; submit sources or content that is unlawful or that you have no right to distribute; or use the Service to infringe anyone's rights. Personal RSS/JSON feed tokens are for your own use. We may throttle, suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.

7. Content you add

You can submit sources (e.g. news sites, YouTube channels). Submitted sources are private to your account unless we approve them into the shared catalogue. You confirm you have the right to point the Service at anything you submit. We may remove any source or content at our discretion (e.g. on a publisher's request).

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. We may change, add or remove features. If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice to paying subscribers and not charge beyond the shutdown date.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, which may give you rights these terms cannot exclude): we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made in reliance on aggregated third-party content; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose (or A$50 for free accounts).

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account); this also cancels any active subscription immediately. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with pro-rata refunds only where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive (liability, IP, disputes) survive termination.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. It forms part of these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to account holders at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Contact: contact@omenpoint.com.
